SPAM Blocker 2.0 Filters SPAM and Junk Email

SPAM Blocker 2.0 filters spam, junk email, and phishing email from your Outlook Inbox.   It works for us, and we are confident that SPAM Blocker can filter spam for you too.  SPAM Blocker 2.0 SDK may be just what you need.  The SPAM Blocker 2.0 SDK features VBA-enabled filtering technology that integrates tightly with Microsoft Outlook (but not Outlook Express).  If you love tinkering with VBA (or at least don't mind learning about VBA), the SPAM Blocker 2.0 SDK is for you.

SPAM Blocker is exclusively for Outlook 2003, 2002, or 2000, but not any version of Outlook Express.  We constantly refine SPAM Blocker's filters to block the most current forms of spam and other unsolicited email.   As of August 10, we issued the forty-eight update for SPAM Blocker 2.0 in the past four years.  Spam is constantly evolving and morphing.  Shouldn't your spam filter application update regularly as well?  You can learn more about SPAM Blocker, including how to buy it, from the menu at the bottom on this page.  We also invite you to review our commentary on myths about blocking spam.

Myths and the Truth about Blocking Spam

  1. SPAM Blocker from ProgrammingMSAccess.com is managed on the premise that a good spam blocking application is all about the spam filters  -- not some fancy program that makes guesses about what's spam.  It is a popular myth that a program can "learn" what you consider spam.  However, this belief ignores the truth than spammers can learn how an algorithm works and then defeat the program.  The unreasonableness of the learning hypothesis is evident from the proliferation of spam messages with content designed to fool programs that try to assign a percentage score to quantify the likelihood that a message is spam.
  2. You can track the origin of spam by email addresses or other identifiers indicating a sender is or is not a spammer.  This rule works so long as spammers cannot assume false identities.  However, spammers can assume false identities.  In addition, they can assume "throw-away" identities that they use a limited number of times until the identity is widely classified as belonging to a spammer.  Then, they just adopt a new "throw-away" identity.
  3. In contrast to the programmatic approach, we offer a carefully tested set of spam filters and the ability to bypass the filters from selected "good senders" even if their messages do have content that our filters define to be spam.  As long as you update the spam filters on a regular basis, this approach can produce acceptable spam blocking.  At least, that is our experience, and we believe that it will be your experience after you adopt SPAM Blocker from ProgrammingMSAccess.com.

More Introductory Info about SPAM Blocker

SPAM Blocker comes in several different editions.  You can quickly discover which edition of SPAM Blocker is right for you from our summary of the two main SPAM Blocker editions.   If you seek additional information about which edition of SPAM Blocker is right for you, we recommend that you look over our SPAM Blocker FAQ.  This FAQ contains the most the complete details about the different ways that you can purchase our spam filtering program as well as other product specifications and features.

Our application is not free, but it works and we back it up with technical support.  If you require a free spam blocking application, we advise you to use your favorite search engine to look for them.  However, please bookmark this page first.  If you find that the free application you choose to install does not work as well as you would prefer, we will still be here only better than we are now (because we regularly refine our filters).  Please come back and give us a try, we think that you'll be glad you did.

SPAM Blocker 2.0 is especially suitable for Outlook users who connect to the Internet directly via an ISP.  Many small business and nearly all individual Outlook users are suitable candidates for SPAM Blocker 2.0.  SPAM Blocker can work with Exchange Server, but the client Outlook application must have its message folders resident on the client computer.

Special Message to Site Visitors: There are many vendors who distribute products that claim to block spam.  However, there is only one version distributed from the ProgrammingMSAccess.com.  We charge a fair price for our version, and we service what we sell.  You can select the support level you prefer and its cost to you by purchasing a SPAM Blocker edition (or an optional support package) from us appropriate for your needs.

As much as we would like to, we are not able to support SPAM Blocker versions distributed by other vendors.  If you require support for a spam blocker obtained from another vendor, our best support advice is to contact them directly.  If you are unable to contact them and you wish to remove or disable their program, you may find success with the Windows Add/Remove Programs feature.  If that option does not achieve your objective, you may need to contact a professional computer technician qualified to disable the application from your Windows registry.
